THE SCHOOL'S HISTROY
Wesley Grammar School is a renowned educational institution located in Accra, Ghana. Its history is deeply intertwined with the development of education in the country. The roots of Wesley Grammar School can be traced back to the early 19th century when Christian missionaries, particularly from the Methodist Church, began establishing schools in Ghana (then known as the Gold Coast). These schools aimed to provide Western-style education while also promoting Christian values. The Methodist Church, being one of the prominent missionary organizations in Ghana, played a pivotal role in the establishment of educational institutions. Wesleyan schools, including primary and secondary schools, began to sprout across the country.
